One of the largest scale projects I organised was for the charity single, Back on My Feet.

I had been spending time with the homeless here in Nottingham, talking to them and sharing chips with them after a night out. One gentleman I used to talk to was Martin, who was severley beaten by drunken passer-by's. His story had moved me to tears then but I knew I had to do something to help. I had created a diary of sorts, dates and names and snippets of conversations I had noted down and photographs. Their stories and humanity compelled me to write, Back on my Feet, created directly from their words. I wrote some spoken word which contains statistical data on homelessness and rap which brings out their plight for a better life. 37 other Nottingham Musicians joined me alongside a host of sound professionals, Paperstone Studio and DHP who leant me The Bodega for the launch which proved to be a great success. Every single person and every penny earned will go to Emmanuel House and Framework, two incredible charities that help our homeless community here in Nottingham towards a better future.
